A new Fontana Business Concierge program that will assist prospective business owners will be offered at City Hall.

The City of Fontana's Economic Development Division is unveiling the first-ever Fontana Business Concierge program to assist prospective business owners.

The concierge is a free service that provides entrepreneurs with resources to develop a successful road map to starting a business in Fontana.

The concierge, Jerry Edgett, a seasoned business advocate and project specialist, is ready to answer questions. He can be reached at (909) 350-6741 or by email.

With the new concierge program also comes redesigned web pages to facilitate finding important business-related information online.

At the Economic Development Concierge desk, Edgett can assist with items such as:

• Providing individualized assistance to begin your business

• Connecting you with organizations, programs and other resources for small businesses and entrepreneurs

• Offering guidance on the development process

• Site selection

• Site-specific demographics

Edgett has been with the City of Fontana Economic Development Division since 2016. He previously served as the Fontana Chamber of Commerce executive director, helping new businesses start in Fontana and also helping with the expansion of current businesses.
