Stater Bros. held a grand re-opening of its supermarket in southern Fontana on July 24.

The re-opening at 11225 Sierra Avenue reflected the company's commitment to enhancing shopping experiences through interior upgrades and expanded offerings to meet the needs of the customers, Stater Bros. said in a news release.

The location will now offer:

• Fresh cut fruit stations

• Expanded selections of wine and beer

• FujiSan handcrafted sushi

• Energy efficient LED lighting

• New wood laminate flooring

In addition, in order to honor the company's long-standing tradition of giving back to the communities it serves, Stater Bros. Charities presented a $2,500 donation to the Boys and Girls Club of Fontana during the re-opening celebration.

“Stater Bros. has always believed in not just doing business in the community, but being part of the community. Providing a pleasant shopping experience, taking good care of our customers and supporting the communities we serve remain at the core of our business,” said Stater Bros. CEO Pete Van Helden.

The store will continue to operate from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily.
