Fontana has 609 confirmed coronavirus cases and 16 deaths due to COVID-19 as of June 4, according to San Bernardino County statistics.

Fontana has the third highest number of coronavirus cases of any city in the county.  The City of San Bernardino (which has seen a large increase in cases recently) and Chino each have 879 cases, the county said.

The county has 5,793 cases overall, and the number has doubled once every 16.6 days.

A total of 210 coronavirus-related deaths have been reported in the county.  Redlands has the most deaths with 34, while Ontario has 27, Yucaipa has 25, and Colton has 17 as of June 4.

Overall in the county, 68,266 persons have been tested for coronavirus and 8.4 percent of them have been infected.

Testing is open to all persons in the county.  Testing takes place at Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton on any weekday, but appointments are necessary. For more information, persons can visit http://sbcovid19.com.

When we compare the corona statistics of the Fontana with the other counties, we can say that rate is comparatively very low.
