Officers help team

A Little League baseball team in Fontana recently had its equipment stolen, but local officers stepped in to help save the day.

The Elks Lodge Little League Minor Dodgers were saddened by the recent theft, which is still under investigation.

However, Fontana Police Department union members presented the players and coaches with a check for $300 to help replace some of their stolen items.

News of the donation was shared on the Fontana P.D.'s Instagram page.
