Caltrans District 8 announced that the 60 Swarm project is continuing this weekend.  The pavement rehabilitation project on the Route 60 Freeway will result in full directional closures of the eastbound lanes between Interstate 15 and the 60/91/215 junction in Riverside from Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 9 at 5 a.m.

The 60 Swarm freeway project is continuing this weekend in Riverside County, Caltrans officials said.

The pavement rehabilitation project on the Route 60 Freeway, just south of Fontana, will result in full directional closures of the eastbound lanes between Interstate 15 and the 60/91/215 junction in Riverside from Friday, Sept. 6 at 10 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 9 at 5 a.m. The westbound lanes will remain open.

This is week six of 15 weekends of the huge project. There are three remaining weekend closures of eastbound Route 60, followed by seven weekend closures of westbound Route 60.

There will be no closures on the Veterans Day holiday weekend (Nov. 8-11).
