A 24-year-old Ontario man was arrested on charges of pimping and pandering of two young women, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department.
On Oct. 24, investigators from the San Bernardino County Human Trafficking Task Force responded to assist Ontario Police Department officers who had detained three subjects near the 15000 block of E. Holt Avenue in Ontario.
Officers had initially responded to the report of an assault; however, during their investigation they discovered information that caused them to suspect human trafficking was involved. All three subjects were transported to the Ontario Police Station for additional interviews.
During the interviews, information was provided supporting that all three subjects were involved in the commercialized sex industry. Task Force investigators were able to determine both victims had been brought to Ontario for the specific purpose of soliciting for prostitution. Task Force investigators also found information that force and fear had allegedly been used by Trevon Dorsey against both victims, forcing them to work as prostitutes on his behalf.
Both victims, an 18-year-old woman from Los Angeles and a 20-yard woman from Las Vegas, were rescued and offered immediate services.
Dorsey was taken into custody and booked at West Valley Detention Center for felony violations of domestic violence, assault and false imprisonment. Additional charges for felony violations of pimping and pandering of an adult followed. He was being held in lieu of $200,000 bail.
This investigation is ongoing. Investigators believe there are other unidentified victims related to this case and are asking anyone with information to contact the Human Trafficking Task Force at (909) 387-8400.
