The San Bernardino Police Department is investigating the murder of a liquor store clerk.

A 52-year-old man was shot to death in San Bernardino on Sept. 10, according to the San Bernardino Police Department.

Officers responded to the 700 block of West 40th Street at about 9:22 p.m. after reports of a liquor store clerk being shot. When officers arrived, they located the injured victim. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased. He was identified as Jihad Rabadi.

The motive for the shooting appears to be a robbery.
