The California Highway Patrol is investigating an incident in which a man died on the 210 Freeway in Fontana on Dec. 1.

A man died in a motorcycle accident in Fontana on Dec. 1, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division.

At 8:22 p.m., the California Highway Patrol Rancho Cucamonga Station received 9-1-1 calls reporting a motorcycle collision on State Route 210 east of Cherry Avenue. Officers and paramedics responded to the location.

Brian Jackson, a 36-year-old resident of Eastvale, was pronounced deceased on scene at 8:35 p.m.

The California Highway Patrol investigated the incident and said that Jackson was riding his 2015 Harley Davidson on the westbound 210 in the No. 2 lane when he collided with the left rear of a 2013 Nissan Sentra, which was also within the No. 2 lane. After this collision, the motorcycle veered left and collided with the right rear of a 2003 Toyota 4Runner in the No. 3 lane.

As a result of both collisions, the motorcyclists was ejected onto the roadway and was struck by a 2003 Honda Pilot in the No. 3 lane.
