Volunteers are asked to help keep Fontana beautiful by participating in the city's monthly Park Clean-Up Day.

The event will take place at Martin Tudor Jurupa Hills Park, 11925 Sierra Avenue, on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers will assist in picking up trash, removing weeds, raking, and other duties as needed. Participants are asked to dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes or boots. Staff will be on site with a sign-in sheet and will provide volunteers with a schedule as well as any supplies necessary for the day. Lunch will also be provided.

Fontana’s Park Clean-up Day is a reoccurring event that takes place at different locations every month throughout the year.
