A Redlands man was arrested by Fontana Police Department detectives on child pornography charges, police said in a news release on Aug. 7.
Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force discovered a suspect was allegedly downloading and distributing child pornography over the Internet.
The investigation led detectives to the 1400 block of Diamond Court in Redlands, where a search warrant was served.
The suspect, identified as Joel Matthew Fantazia, was allegedly in possession of in excess of 70 child pornographic videos, some of which included prepubescent children engaged in sadomasochistic situations. Detectives recovered multiple electronic devices from the residence.
Fantazia was booked at West Valley Detention Center.
