Forecasters are saying that Saturday, Dec. 8 will be a sunny day. That's great news for local residents wanting to celebrate the holiday spirit.

All of those residents are invited to stop by the downtown area on that day to watch the annual Fontana Christmas Parade, which will begin at 10 a.m.

The parade, coordinated by the Exchange Club of Fontana, will start at the corner of Sierra Avenue and Arrow Boulevard and will head south on Sierra to Merrill Avenue.

The grand marshals of the event will be Fontana A.B. Miller High School dance instructor Nicole Robinson and the Fontana Unified School District Dance Collaborative, a dance education program for students in grades pre-kindergarten through eighth grade at Miller feeder schools.

The Exchange Club will also be honoring Todd Vigiletti and Center Stage Theater, which is celebrating its 10-year anniversary in Fontana.
