Super hero

The 2018 Fontana Days Parade, which will be held on Saturday, May 5, will have a “super hero” theme, just as it did here in 2012.

Many of the "super heroes" of the local area will be participating in the Fontana Days Parade on Saturday, May 5.

"Super Hero Adventures" will be the theme of the parade, which will begin at 10 a.m. at the corner of Sierra Avenue and Arrow Boulevard and will continue south on Sierra to Merrill.

The annual parade, which normally takes place in June, has been moved up this year so that more students will be able to participate before their school year ends. The Fontana Days Festival will be held May 31 and June 1, 2, and 3 at Veterans Park.

Radio show host Evelyn Erives and veterinarian Dr. Sudeep Wahla will be the grand marshals of the parade, which is coordinated each year by the Exchange Club of Fontana.
