Volunteers are encouraged to give back to their community by participating in a Clean-Up Day.

The event, which is coordinated by the City of Fontana, will take place along the Pacific Electric Trail between Citrus and Tokay avenues on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Volunteers can park or be dropped off on Citrus Avenue near the Pacific Electric Trail.

Volunteers will assist in picking up trash, removing weeds, raking, and other duties as needed. Participants are asked to dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes or boots. Staff members will be on site with a sign-in sheet and will provide volunteers with a schedule as well as any supplies necessary for the day. Lunch will also be provided.
