A young man's body was found at a park in Fontana on Nov. 3, according to the Fontana Police Department.

At about 6:09 a.m., Fontana Police Dispatch received a 911 call advising that a person needed medical aid at Bill Martin Park, located at 7881 Juniper Avenue.

Officers and San Bernardino County Fire Department medics arrived and located a deceased 19-year-old man.

Based on the evidence at the scene, the man was not believed to be a victim of a crime.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner's Division took possession of the body. No official cause of death has yet been announced.

Emmeline Contreras said she was the sister of the man and said a GoFundMe page has been established to help pay for funeral expenses. The page is located at:
