On Oct. 26, longtime Fontana resident Jeffery Scott Connelly, 65, passed away, surrounded by family in the home he helped build 42 years earlier.
Jeff was born on Jan. 4, 1954 in Corona to Mary Catherine (Kinsey) Connelly and Edward Connelly.
Jeffery was a graduate of Fontana High School Class of 1972, and went on to work at Kaiser Steel until the mill's closing in 1983. In 1986, he met and fell in love with his beloved wife, Maria (Feria) Connelly. He medically retired in 2010 from the Fontana Unified School District.
Jeffery is survived by his beloved wife Maria (Feria) Connelly; his son Alejandro Gonzales; and his daughters Amalia (Gonzales) Eberhardt and Monica (Connelly) Greenwood. He has five grandchildren, Melody, Jason, Emily, Jameson, and Amalia. He leaves behind one great-grandchild, Jameson.
Jeff’s Celebration of Life was held at Ingold Funeral and Cremation on Nov. 9 at 11 a.m.
