Dear Editor:

As a long time resident of Fontana (FoHi graduate and 30-year F.U.S.D. teacher), I am so proud of all the great things our students, teachers, administrators, etc. have accomplished this year! Twenty national and state awards!

Being asked to lead the Rose Parade on Jan. 1 was an amazing accomplishment and honor for Kaiser High School! And a first for our city!

Articles I've read this year about individual students' accomplishments also make us proud! So many will soon be in college, university and trade school.

I know many scholarships are awarded to our soon-to-be local high school graduates. Thanks to all the individuals and organizations that do that! (I am personally proud to belong to the Fontana Kiwanis Club, which will be handing out 12 scholarships this year, some at every Fontana Unified School District high school.)

Congratulations to ALL our city's graduating seniors! We are very proud of you! Good luck in your future endeavors!
