Former Summit High School football player Donte Deayon has been elevated to the active roster of the Los Angeles Rams.

Deayon, a backup cornerback, was previously on the Rams' practice squad but was called up in the middle of the season.

Deayon saw action in the Rams' 34-7 win over Arizona on Dec. 1 and made 2 tackles.

L.A. defeated Seattle on Dec. 8 to keep its playoff hopes alive.

Deayon was on the Rams' practice squad at the end of last year and did not get a chance to participate in the Super Bowl.

Deayon was an All-CIF player for Summit when the SkyHawks won the CIF title in 2011.
