The Fontana A.B. Miller football team turned in a great performance on both offense and defense en route to a 40-0 stomping of San Bernardino on Sept. 27.

The Rebels stayed tied for first place in the Mountain Valley League standings with a 2-0 record (4-2 overall).

Peter Coleman carried the football 14 times for 136 yards and also completed 3 of 7 passes for 22 yards for the Rebels, who scored at least one touchdown in each quarter.

Eduardo Zaragoza rushed for 87 yards in 9 carries and DJ Jackson had 55 yards in 6 carries. They each scored a pair of touchdowns.

Jhovanny Hernandez gained 29 yards in 3 carries, including a touchdown run.

Jackson caught 3 passes for 22 yards and a TD.

Cody Ruiz kicked 2 extra points and Coleman had a 2-point conversion run.

Miller will have a road game against Rubidoux on Thursday, Oct. 3.
