The Summit High School volleyball team stayed undefeated in Sunkist League action by demolishing Grand Terrace, 3-0, on Sept. 30.

The SkyHawks raised their record to 4-0 in the league with their 25-18, 25-21, 25-12 triumph.

Izabela Melara led the way for Summit with 12 kills. Raeven Pugh had 10 kills, Kamron Jordan had 7, and Faith Evaro had 4.

Jordan had 3 ace serves and Melara had 2 aces.

Alyssa Aleman had 16 assists and Shelby Dawson had 14 assists.

----- IN A PREVIOUS MATCH, Summit topped local rival Kaiser, 3-0, on Sept. 25 as Pugh had 9 kills, Jordan had 8, and Melara had 7.

Melara had 3 ace serves and Dawson and Aleman both had 2 aces. Dawson had 14 assists and Aleman had 10 assists.

For Kaiser, Precious Chikezie had 6 kills and Emily Macias had 4 kills. Arianna Vega had 9 assists and Nathalia Burciaga had 6 assists.
