The Summit High School volleyball team, ranked No. 2 in this week's CIF Division 6 poll, clobbered Carter, 3-0, in a non-league match on Sept. 10.

Kameron Jordan had 8 kills to help lead the SkyHawks, who achieved 25-7, 25-12, 25-14 victories.

Raeven Pugh obtained 6 kills, Lole Mamea had 5, Faith Evaro 4, and Cristina Lopez 3.

Pugh had 5 ace serves and Izabela Melara and Jordan both had 3 aces.

Alyssa Aleman had 14 assists and Shelby Dawson provided 10 assists.

In a previous match, Summit squashed Patriot, 3-0, as Pugh had 12 kills and Jordan had 9 kills. Melara and Evaro each had 4 kills.

Jordan and Melara both had 4 ace serves and Manaia Mamea had 3 aces.

Aleman had 13 assists and Dawson had 10.

Summit also posted wins over San Gorgonio and Hesperia in recent action.
